Friday nights are usually my pizza nights with my family and i have to say Gianni's easily has one of the best cheese pies! Their slices are almost out of a cartoon, great cheese pull, not overly sauces, baked great and an amazing crust! It's not salty or overly greasy!
Their burgers are also better than the surrounding pizzerias in the Jackson Heights/East Elmhurst area. Their burgers are tasty, not greasy, doesn't fall apart and stacked the right way with all it's condiments.
Not a big fan of their Gyro but it's a decent size. A bit messy due to all the extra lettuce they throw in.
9/10 would recommend for a nice lunch or dinner. -

Gianni's was our go-to pizza place in Jackson Heights. Sadly, it's not anymore. Since the beginning of summer the food has deteriorated. (My guess is the original owners sold to someone else.) The calzone that we ordered tonight was inedible -- stale and mushy pizza dough with a tiny bit of mozzarella and a tiny bit of ricotta cheese -- and slices of meatballs. It hardly resembled the calzones of Gianni's past. The Tortellini soup was just okay, but with way too too much black pepper. The last time we ordered pizza, it was stale and inedible. We all hoped it was just a fluke. We will now be looking for a new Jackson Heights pizza place.

I'm so glad I didn't go off of the negative reviews before ordering here. Normally... when I see a lower star rating, I won't even click on the restaurant to look at it before judging them. Thankfully, once again, I didn't do this.
Most of the prior reviews are people upset about their delivery being late. News flash, this is NYC and you're ordering from a 3rd party company that supplies drivers to pick up your food. I don't think it's fair to cut down a restaurant based on your delivery experience.
My delivery was supposed to take anywhere from 45 to 55 mins. It arrived within 38 mins. Hot and fresh.
Chicken Greek salad: omgggg their homemade dressing is to die for. It reminds me of the dressing my grandmother makes. The amount of chicken they placed on this salad was a little overboard. It might of had more chicken than my chicken Alfredo (not complaining). It came with pita bread and two stuffed grapeleaves. All the veggies were crisp and fresh.
Chicken Alfredo: I don't know why I ordered this tonight, but I'm so glad I did. I don't like pasta and I normally don't go with a white sauce when I do eat pasta. There wasn't too much or too little of sauce, it was coated just right. I like how they mixed the chicken into the pasta and didn't just leave it laying there on the top. On the rare occasion I do eat chicken Alfredo.... I usually have to coat it with a ton of salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. I didn't add anything to this.. it was 100% perfect the way it was.
I thought it was great that it came with two slices of garlic bread. I forgot to order bread, so I was happily surprised when I saw it came with it.
Please look at photos and other reviews before condemning this place based on crappy reviews about delivery. -

I had their pizza a couple times and it's just not so great. Wouldn't order from them again.

Not happy. I would get this pizza all the time when I was younger. I was hoping to get that nostalgic pizza feeling and I didn't. The pizza was sauceless and the dough was tough. Not even my daughter wanted the crust. The mozzarella sticks were super salty. I'm disappointed at their flavor.
